Firestick 1-1/2″ Pump Union is used in some smaller spas in place of a heater using turbulence to heat up the water.
Part Details:
- 1-1/2″ buttress thread (actually measures approximately 2-1/4″ across) x 1-1/2″ Slip
- Includes 1-1/2″ union nut and tail piece with 1-1/2″ slip fitting
- 1-1/2″ Slip is designed to slip over pipes with 1-1/2″ inner diameter, as such the actual dimensions of the slip are larger to accommodate the thickness of the pipe
- 1-1/2″ buttress thread is only compatible with 1-1/2″ buttress thread parts (such as pump intakes, discharges, or plumbing listed as buttress thread)
- Will not thread onto 1-1/2″ MPT fittings
