This swivel was designed specifically for these pressure cleaners and its purpose is to allow the cleanersfeed hosefrom tangling, and also allows the cleaner to turn out of corners or away from steps that would normally impede the cleaner, thus making its cleaning efforts insufficient.
This part is an off-white color and is 1 of 4 total that is placed in between the Hoses along with thehose kit. This makes it easy to identify if needing to be replaced when the bearing on the inside of the swivel goes bad. This normally is caused by the length of use or life span of the cleaner causing it to wear down or deteriorate. just simply replace the parts affected by this and it will return the cleaner to its normal functioning capabilities.
