This is a gallon container of Ramuc HB31 Epoxy Pool Paint. This paint is self-priming and has a 3:1 mix ratio. This high-build epoxy pool paint cures to a hard, durable finish that provides excellent stain, chemical, and abrasion resistance. It cures to a satin finish with excellent coverage, especially on previously coated epoxy surfaces.
You can use HB31 Epoxy on bare concrete, plaster, and fiberglass pools, spas, or slides. HB31 Epoxy should not be used on existing acrylic, chlorinated rubber, or synthetic rubber surfaces. You should know the type of surface you have before ordering the paint.
The HB31 Epoxy paint will cover 150-200 square feet of a bare or rough surface pool and 300-350 square feet on recoats. It cures to a satin finish and provides you with excellent coverage. It should serve you for 6-8 years. The paint can be applied with a brush (no thicker than 3/8 inch, non-shedding roller, or sprayer.The dry time between coats is 16-72 hours. If you go beyond 72 hours, you must sandblast before applying the second coat. The dry/cure time before filling is 5-7 days for an outdoor pool and 10-14 days for an indoor pool. Clean-up can be done with the Ramuc Paint Thinner.
HB31 Epoxy rolls easily and builds up to 8 mils dry per coat, rendering a smooth satin finish on rough surfaces. Two coats offer you up to 8 years of service. Because of their chemical cure, epoxies are the paints of choice for indoor pools and spas.
