Please note:
Unicel and Pleatco brands of this filter use threads on the bottom that are inside a raised hole. The ProAqua filters have a new design for the bottom made with stronger ABS plastic, which leads to a more rigid filter and requires less threads to seat properly. The new ABS plastic ends are designed to last longer under the harsh conditions of spa water.
