The black Magna-Latch Alert Vertical Pull Child Safety Gate Latch has a visual and audible alarm when your gate is unlatched. It utilizes magnetic technology to produce a latch that is toddler-resistant, safe, and reliable. It is designed to fit all square post gate applications.
The Magna-Latch Alert is made of strong polymers and 316 marine-grade stainless steel for a long-lasting corrosion-resistant gate latch. It has dual electronic warnings: bright, flashing LED lights and an audible alarm. This lets you know your gate is unlatched. You can see at a glance and hear from a distance if your gate is secured. It is vertically and horizontally adjustable. This is a key lockable latch that can be keyed to your house doors by a locksmith. A long-life lithium battery is included.
The ALERT sets new gate safety levels for front gates, side gates, and pet gates. The Vertical Pull model is ideal for safeguarding pets and general-purpose gates around your home and garden. A single beep upon each entry or exit of a gate notifies you of family, friends, or intruders.
The Magna-Latch ALERT is designed to fit all square-post gate applications and most materials like wood, metal, aluminum, or vinyl. It requires a minimum of 1 inch post size. The ideal gate gap is 3/4 inch. When installing this latch to a swimming pool gate, always confirm any safety requirements with your local Council or safety authorities to ensure compliance.
