The SharkBite 22441LF Push-to-Connect Brass Water Heater Installation Kit features two (2) 3/4″ universal female connectors and one (1) 3/4″ disconnect clip. These two-female reducing connectors are designed to join piping together without the need of soldering, glue, tape, or clamps. As you insert the pipe into this push-to-connect fitting the stainless-steel teeth clamp down tightly while the built-in O-ring compresses ensuring a leak-free seal. If the female adapters need to be disconnected simply slip the disconnect tool behind the collet firmly and the fittings will disconnect. Unlike many plumbing connectors, SharkBite fittings can be rotated after assembly to make installation quick and easy. This adapter is ideal for transitioning between PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe to a MPT connection.
